The following works are centered around ideas of power and influence and seductiveness. In this work, Harris continues to examine notions of hierarchy, idealism, personal narrative. Inspired by dioramas and immersive spaces, Harris utilizes installation and video to work through how power flows back and forth and between the conqueror and the subjugated,, art work and viewer, personal history and broader narratives. Her work offers ways of thinking about fantasy and symbolic representation as a means to understand ¨real life¨.
